Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 January 2026
IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE USING THIS SERVICE
KlaroSkope is a script deobfuscation tool for analyzing malicious scripts. By using this Service, you acknowledge that you are working with potentially dangerous content and that we provide no guarantees of any kind regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of our analysis results. You are solely responsible for verifying all results and for any actions you take based on those results.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Host Engineering LTD ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales, governing your use of KlaroSkope.com ("the Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Nature of the Service
KlaroSkope provides automated script deobfuscation and analysis tools designed to assist security professionals. The Service includes:
- Multi-layer deobfuscation of scripts and code
- Indicators of Compromise (IOC) extraction
- MITRE ATT&CK technique mapping
- YARA and Sigma rule generation
- Quality scoring and confidence metrics
Critical Limitations You Must Understand
- The Service is a tool, not a solution. It is designed to assist qualified security professionals, not to replace professional judgment, expertise, or manual analysis.
- Results may be incomplete or incorrect. Malware authors continuously develop new obfuscation techniques. We cannot guarantee detection of all obfuscation methods or accurate decoding of all samples.
- Results require verification. All analysis results, IOCs, and generated rules must be independently verified by qualified personnel before use in security operations.
- No malware detection guarantee. The Service does not guarantee identification of all malicious content, all IOCs, or all attack techniques present in a sample.
3. Data Processing and Privacy
No External AI Processing
We do NOT transmit your submitted samples or analysis data to any external artificial intelligence services, large language models, or third-party machine learning platforms. All analysis is performed using our proprietary, self-hosted deobfuscation engine.
3.1 Anonymized Engine Improvement
To improve our deobfuscation engine, we may use anonymized pattern data derived from submissions. This data is:
- Permanently stripped of all personally identifiable information
- Aggregated across thousands of samples
- Impossible to reconstruct or trace to original submissions
- Limited to obfuscation patterns, not payload content
3.2 Air-Gapped Operations Tier
For organizations requiring absolute data isolation, we offer air-gapped on-premises deployment through our Operations tier. With this deployment:
- Zero data egress: Not a single byte of data leaves your controlled environment
- No network connectivity to our servers or any external services
- No telemetry, analytics, or usage data collection
- Suitable for classified environments (SCIF, IL4+, FedRAMP)
4. Your Responsibilities
4.1 Authorization
You represent and warrant that:
- You have proper legal authorization to analyze any samples you submit
- Your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, including the Computer Misuse Act 1990
- You will use the Service only for legitimate defensive security purposes
- You are at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into binding contracts
4.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized access
- Any liability arising from your failure to secure your account
4.3 Prohibited Activities
You must not:

- Interfere with the Service or impose unreasonable load
- Use automated tools to access the Service beyond our API
- Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights
Warning: Violation of these terms, particularly using the Service to create or enhance malware, will result in immediate termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
